About

The aim of the competition is to redesign the current interchange station into a social attraction center within the city. In an integrated approach, the proposed mass is monolithic, inclusive, aggregator and distributor. The axis manifests by pedestrian traffic and land geometry which are the factors that shape the edges of the design. The center, defined geometrically and functionally, is utilized as the main public space.

The design is revived by the movement and the flow of occupants and passers by gathering, standing, disintegrating. They interact with the functions. When the visitor reaches the center of the project, they perceive the activities through the transparent facade where metal structure and glass units are designed parametrically. The segmental appearances intensify the design, dynamic and the sense of living with light reflections and refractions.
