Ortabayır Housing located in Kağıthane, Istanbul has commercial spaces on ground floor, variant housings along 12 storeys and parking in basement floors. The functionality is the top criterion for this simply and contemporarily approached design. Applying a regular plan scheme to achieve economical goals, it provides comfortable life style for the habitants. Based on our climate analysis, facade panels were our solution of choice as agents playing the role of balancing interior ambiances and aesthetically exalting the building within its vicinity.
